Web design · London, Ontario

A website that earns its rent.

Most small business websites are brochures that nobody reads. We build sites that show up in search, load in under a second, and turn visitors into bookings, calls, and quotes, for shops in London and across southwestern Ontario.

Built for local businesses that need to show up.

If your customers are within a 60‑minute drive of London, your website needs to do three things well: rank locally, load fast on phones, and make it easy to call you. That's what we build.

Trades & contractors
Roofing, HVAC, electrical, painting, renovations.
Restaurants & food
Independents, takeout, catering, ghost kitchens.
Auto & transport
Repair shops, dealerships, towing, removals.
Personal services
Salons, clinics, studios, fitness, wellness.
Professional services
Mortgage, insurance, accounting, legal, real estate.
Retail & ecommerce
Brick-and-mortar shops adding online ordering.
Home services
Cleaning, landscaping, pest control, security.
Health & medical
Dental, physio, chiropractic, vet, pharmacy.

What we fix.

Most of the sites we replace look fine, but they don't do anything. Here's what tends to be broken under the hood.

  • Slow to load on phones

Bloated themes and oversized images push your bounce rate above 60%. We rebuild on plain HTML and hit sub‑1 second loads.

  • Invisible in local search

No schema, no proper title tags, no city pages. We add LocalBusiness schema, fix your titles, and build pages for the towns you serve.

  • Hard to contact from a phone

Phone numbers that don't tap-to-call. Forms with ten fields. We strip contact down to one tap, three fields, done.

  • No tracking, no proof of leads

Without GA4, call tracking, and form events, you cannot tell what's working. We wire it all up and report monthly.

  • WordPress that breaks every Tuesday

Eighteen plugins, three of them outdated, none of them backed up. We replace with static HTML or a managed WordPress on hardened hosting.

  • Leads that fall on the floor

Forms email a Gmail nobody checks. We push every lead into a CRM with auto-reply, missed-call SMS, and follow-up reminders.

What's included.

Every web design project ships with the same baseline. No surprises, no upsells for the basics. And we build in whatever the job needs: static HTML, WordPress, Astro (Low Price Auto Glass), SvelteKit (Lancaster FBC), even Flutter apps (Dough Boys).

How we build.

Five steps, roughly seven business days for a typical small business website.

  1. Discovery

30‑minute call. We map your customers, services, and the search terms you need to win.

  2. Design

Wireframe to high-fidelity mockup of the homepage and one service page. You sign off before we build.

  3. Build

Hand-coded HTML on a fast host, or WordPress with the plugins you actually need. No more.

  4. Review

You walk through every page on staging. We fix copy, swap photos, and tighten anything that needs it.

  5. Launch & improve

Go live, redirect old URLs, submit sitemaps. Then monthly improvements based on real traffic data.

How we scope a build.

Three shapes most projects fit into. We mix and match to what you actually need, then quote it in writing, no fixed packages, no padding.

Common questions.

Quick answers to what most London business owners ask before getting started.

How much does a small business website cost in London?
It depends on page count, custom features, and whether you need ecommerce or booking, so we scope your project and give a fixed quote in writing before any work begins. No fixed packages, no padding.
How long does it take to build a website?
A typical small business site takes 7-14 business days from kickoff to launch. Faster if your content and photos are ready on day one. Custom builds with integrations run 4-8 weeks.
Do you build on WordPress or static HTML?
Both. Static HTML is faster, more secure, and cheaper to host, best for service businesses that don't update content weekly. WordPress makes sense when you need a blog, multiple editors, or a complex catalog. We recommend the right tool, not the same tool for everyone.
Will the new site rank as well as my old one?
Better, in most cases. We map every old URL to a new one with 301 redirects so existing search rankings carry over. Then we add the on-page SEO, schema, and city pages most older sites are missing, which usually improves rankings within 30-90 days.
Do you handle hosting too?
Yes. Most clients put their site on our managed hosting with care plans covering backups, updates, and monitoring, quoted with the build. You can also stay with your existing host; we deploy wherever you want.
What if I need changes after launch?
Care plans include 30-60 minutes of changes per month. Bigger requests are billed hourly or rolled into a quarterly retainer. We don't charge for typos, broken links, or obvious bug fixes, those are on us.
